Ghosts: Part Two

Ghosts, they come in many forms, invisible human beings, possessed items, even actual human figures, but are these “creatures” real? Well, if we follow the word all the way back to the roots, it has MANY different terms, but all have something to do with death or something scary. Which made me think, well if it all relates to death, why don’t we look into more “deathly” creatures (pun intended). For instance, the grim reaper.

The grim reaper as it turns out, wasn’t always so, grim, (pun intended, again). In fact, in Greek myths, he was called Thanatos, and was handsome and actually helped take people to Hades, the afterlife, or whatever you may call it. And after that come many, many other different views. Sounds like ghosts to me. I mean, they both are looked upon in many different ways, some good, some bad. They also both are much related to death and are both seen around the world. Now, I’m not going to say that maybe ghosts are actually Grim Reapers, or switched around, but simply to point out that these creatures are known around the globe and are more than some urban legend.

Now, another similarity is the government. Everyone says that they’re hiding stuff like ghosts, aliens, and other things, but have you considered why? I mean, sure, everyone wants to know if aliens or ghosts are real or not, but what would we do if we found out? Sometimes there’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed, and this is one of them. I’m not saying, don’t look into aliens or ghosts for your own good, but imagine if aliens were real and everyone was told. Wouldn’t they freak out? Maybe the government is hiding it for good reasons.

Now, to finish this up, I want to say something. If you really believe ghosts are real, then fine, believe that. If you think they aren’t real, then believe that. It really doesn’t matter which side you choose. You can keep pursuing ghost hunting or ghost research, but trust me when I say, you won’t find anything, and if you do, you won’t be able to tell anyone else. Somethings in life aren’t meant to be discovered. All I can say is that ghosts will always be a mystery, no matter how much research you do, because thats how the world works.

And with that, I’m going to put this down as…

False

becuase whatever you do, nothing will prove it, so it might as well stay false.

Hopkinsville Goblin

So, today, we’ll be doing a post on a more “myth-ed” creature, the Hopkinsville Goblin. Now, way back in August 22, 1955, an odd article was found in The Kentucky New Era. This article told of how a spaceship landed and probed 12 little men onto a UFO, and how the owner of the house tried shooting them but how it had no affect. Now, this was “supposedly” just an act preformed by the government, but really, how many times have we heard that? (I could go on a whole paragraph just naming off names of incidents that were “caused” by the government). Ok, now lets go into if a being like this could exist. Now, this creature is said to be half the size of a human, and some crazy abilities, like bat-like ears that can easily pickup sound (Believable), Bulging eyes that are sensitive to too much light (Believable), Very sharp talon like fingers (Believable), A very small body compared to its head (Unbelievable). Ok so now that we have these characteristics, let’s first see if there’s any animal like it! So, lets start with the sensitive hearing, now what animals have good hearing, well, bats, and many birds/insects have good hearing, now about sensitive to light, well, let’s go with nocturnal animals, which leaves with some birds, and now, lets go with sharp talons, well, many birds have those, but there’s one bird who fits this better than any other, an owl, now does it have a big head, yes! Plus, there’s TONS of types of owls, but on stood out out more than others ( There may be a more interesting one though, as there’s soo many owls!) It’s the Oriental Bay Owl. It is almost all white, with a little orange like color, and has these PURE black eyes that bulge from its head, scary right? Now, it may not exactly fit the title, but it’s close to it. Though, before i just go on and say it’s not real, there is some odd factors i wanted to point out. Now, along with it being described as bigger, there’s also OTHER reports of it! Now, i don’t mean of the Hopkinsville Goblin, i mean other creatures, like the Rake (HUGE similarities there, i mean just look a picture up of it!) So, again, the Rake was known to be like a smaller man, who was white and went around killing people, and it supposedly happened throughout 1964 -2003, and the original story is a collection of 4 diary entries from people. So, i wouldn’t be surprised if the Rake had some connection to the Hopkinsville Goblin, but, as of right now, rake put aside, the Hopkinsville Goblin is…

Ununpentium – Element 155

Image

Image (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

As many people know, in Call Of Duty: Zombies, there is an element that is called 155 and is supposedly the main source of the zombies. Which was originally thought as a made up element  until more research was done into it and was found that a element called Ununpentium, the 155 element added to the periodic table of elements. It was originally  found by a group of Russian scientists in 2003, but wasn’t added to the perdiotic table of elements until 2004. Not much is known about this odd element, but we do know that it has a VERY small life, only 200 ml. Though what makes it odd is that it was found by Russian scientists, which is odd because Richthofen, the “Russian” Scientist is the one that makes the zombies. Although its a metal, it doesn’t seem to have any odd factors about it. Except for the fact that it isn’t just used in Call Of Duty, it’s also used in the series X-COM, Tomb Raider, and in several other Tv Shows. Which is odd, why would so many Games, Shows, and others use ununpentium, maybe its because its such an uncommon element, maybe they just randomly picked it, or maybe there’s something more, maybe the government is hiding something, and maybe all these Shows and Games are telling us something, trying to tell us that this element has more to it than meets the eye. Who know’s, for all we know it could possibly make zombies, or power Ufo’s or be used to create powerful guns. For right now, ununpentium will still remain a…
