BEN Drowned

Although I don’t usually like to cover video game and lost episode creepypasta, I’m having a hard time finding any new creepypasta. Now trust me, there’s TONS of creepypasta, but alot of the good ones are buried over remakes and similar creepypasta, and with school and everything else, I just don’t have time. Though, one of my friends told me of a certain thing that I will definitely going to cover, but that’s in the future. So, I thought I would come back to one of the most famous creepypastas, Ben Drowned.

Now, I have covered ghosts in the past, including haunted games. Ghosts are a touchy subject, as there’s proof towards it, and then there’s proof against it. But anyway, let’s just skip the ghost part and go straight to reality. If this game is haunted, and if all this creepy stuff that isn’t programmed into the game, could the cartridge hold all of that? Sure, there are some very creepy things in Majora’s Mask, heck, someone could easily make a creepypasta about it, but when you add in all of these extra sprites, such as Ben’s face, the levitate and burst into flames move, and save files being brought back to life, could the n64 cartridge handle all of it? The answer is absolutely NO. The way n64 cartridges are made is that it’s not meant to hold anything more than what is originally put in there. And, with a little bit of research, Majora’s Mask has 64MB, or 64 Megabytes of data, the max a n64 cartridge could ever hold. So, how do all these other sprites fit in? Well, one might say that it’s just unused content from the game, but then there’s the catch. Since Majora’s Mask was such a huge game, they couldn’t have such luxuries, because they filled it to the brim with content. So the question remains, how does it work?

Well, sure, there’s video proof, and it’s pretty good too, but that doesn’t mean he still isn’t just blatantly lieing to us. Yes, we can see in the videos that the content does in fact exist, but none of the videos shows him putting the cartridge in and the n64 booting up, or his dorm. And because we don’t see the actual n64. He could easily of hacked the cartridge, or be using an emulator. So no matter what, the story always seems to fall a little short. And so, I say this is…

It’s just not realistic and there’s no telling what he did. So as of right now, unless there is more proof I skipped over, this just ins’t right. Also, sorry on the late release date, as I was really trying to find a creepypasta to do, and so I had to use my last resort. Next post will be on the 5th so be looking forward to it!

Five Nights At Freddy’s

Five Nights At Freddy’s, if you don’t know, is a survival horror game. The story goes that you are a new night guard for Freddy Fazbears’ Pizzeria. And your job is to keep a watch on the roaming animatronics at night by using an assortment of cameras located around the pizzeria. Though, today I am not going to be talking about why and how the animatroncis came into existence or theories about it, I am just going to examine the robots and see if these animatronics could actually do everything that they do.

First thing I need to prove is could these robots be able to roam freely at night, with a mind of their own. Now, for a robot or animatronic to be able to roam freely like that would need special equipment to do that. The first thing they would need would be suitable walking legs that would support the rest of the animatronic. Now, this is set back in around 1988 to 1998, and for an animatronic to have that kind of machinery would be expensive, but not impossible. The robot would also need to have some way of being told how to walk. This could either be controlled remotely or by programming it into the robot’s system. And since this is before 2000, remote controlling the animatronic isn’t realistic, so you could guess that it was programmed into the robot. But, that would mean that someone would of had to of programmed the robots to move freely. So yes, they could, but it would take effort on the programmers part, and isn’t very realistic in general.

Another thing to point out is the one animatronic named Foxy. Foxy is a animatronic pirate fox, and in-game he can sprint and bang on your door. First of all, an animatronic running is highly unlikely. Nowadays, an animatronics can move faster, but again, were talking 16 – 30 years ago. To make such a animatronic that can run, and that can recognize doors, and to have an action programmed in so that it bangs on the door would not only be extremely expensive and very hard to make, Foxy has also been in disrepair for months due to an “accident”, and hasn’t been oiled or taken care of, making him the least eligible for running or even sprinting. And again, we go back to the problem of the price and effort, so it really wouldn’t make any sense.

Finally, how they are able to recognize other animatronics, or even have seeing capabilities themselves. So supposedly you are told that the animatronics may mistake you for a bare endoskeleton. Now, I’m not going to say it’s impossible, but that’s crazy technology for back then. Cameras weren’t very great, and if they were put in the animatronics they would be horrible. and this pizzeria is most likely low-budget and wouldn’t care enough to put cameras in the robots, so bascially, it’s just as unrealistic as the rest. And this isn’t even touching on why they would be programmed to recognize another animatronic and to put a skin on endoskeletons.

So, overall, while they could very well exist in this day an age, back then it was extremely unlikely and even if someone did want to, it would take huge amounts of effort, and really, who would want to do that? So, with everything in mind, I’m going to say…

In that day an age, it’s just not likely. Well, hoped you liked the new post! I’ll try to make one next month! Also, later I will be releasing some information I found regarding The Showers, who knows, maybe i was wrong about it being a hoax…

Till’ Next Time,

The Showers

Now, every once in a blue moon, you come across a really good creepypasta. Even rarer is one that’s actually believable. Today I’ll be covering one of those rarities. The Showers is a story about an odd mill somewhere in Kansas of Nebraska (Later on in the story it is revealed that it is Hastings, Nebraska). It’s told by an old student retelling a story his teacher told him on Halloween in high school. It’s told that he came across an old mill and found a cellar. So, being college students, they went into the cellar, only to find a twisting hallway. And at the end, they see a room filled with shower heads, leaking a strange liquid. Then, the lights turned off, and they were chased by children, and one of them even dies. So the kid decides to go himself, and actually finds it and has an experience similar to his teacher’s. Except this time only one kid is seen. Now, this story leaves much to the imagination, which is part of the reason it seems so true.

And so, after some research I was able to find a chat room discussing the topic. And in the midst of it, I was able to find a link to a search answers site and another chat room. The answer site only said it might be referenced in the  Shadowlands list of haunted places in Nebraska, but I only found reports of a haunted college and a haunted bridge. Though, the other chat room was interesting! It had a couple more links, and another link to the same search answers, but one thing stood out. One of the posters would just keep posting strange riddle like poems referencing the showers. And he always had vague hints hidden in them. So I thought I would look at his account, and the only activity he had done was posting those  comments. Now, yes, I know he was probably just a troller, or just somebody who needed some time to waste. But still, it intrigued me. So after that I decided to research it myself, but i was only able to find some more websites showing the same two hauntings over and over. So, sadly, there wasn’t much proof to back it up, really none at all.

So, after all the research, there really wasn’t anything to support it but some mysterious messages and some people claiming they live there and that they think it’s real. Now don’t get me wrong, it does sound extremely real and is very well-written, there’s just no info on it anywhere. Yes, it sounds real, and there’s not anything “out of this world” there’s not anything to back it up ( Kinda sounds like a really popular and very speculated game, hint hint ). So I’m going to have to put this one down as a…

Although I want to put this one as real, there’s just no proof. Even if your the most honest and trustworthy person in the world, if your lie has nothing to back it up, you just can’t believe it. And don’t be surprised if you see a certain pizzeria themed post coming soon!

Ghosts: Part Two

Ghosts, they come in many forms, invisible human beings, possessed items, even actual human figures, but are these “creatures” real? Well, if we follow the word all the way back to the roots, it has MANY different terms, but all have something to do with death or something scary. Which made me think, well if it all relates to death, why don’t we look into more “deathly” creatures (pun intended). For instance, the grim reaper.

The grim reaper as it turns out, wasn’t always so, grim, (pun intended, again). In fact, in Greek myths, he was called Thanatos, and was handsome and actually helped take people to Hades, the afterlife, or whatever you may call it. And after that come many, many other different views. Sounds like ghosts to me. I mean, they both are looked upon in many different ways, some good, some bad. They also both are much related to death and are both seen around the world. Now, I’m not going to say that maybe ghosts are actually Grim Reapers, or switched around, but simply to point out that these creatures are known around the globe and are more than some urban legend.

Now, another similarity is the government. Everyone says that they’re hiding stuff like ghosts, aliens, and other things, but have you considered why? I mean, sure, everyone wants to know if aliens or ghosts are real or not, but what would we do if we found out? Sometimes there’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed, and this is one of them. I’m not saying, don’t look into aliens or ghosts for your own good, but imagine if aliens were real and everyone was told. Wouldn’t they freak out? Maybe the government is hiding it for good reasons.

Now, to finish this up, I want to say something. If you really believe ghosts are real, then fine, believe that. If you think they aren’t real, then believe that. It really doesn’t matter which side you choose. You can keep pursuing ghost hunting or ghost research, but trust me when I say, you won’t find anything, and if you do, you won’t be able to tell anyone else. Somethings in life aren’t meant to be discovered. All I can say is that ghosts will always be a mystery, no matter how much research you do, because thats how the world works.

And with that, I’m going to put this down as…

becuase whatever you do, nothing will prove it, so it might as well stay false.

Ghost Etymology

Ghosts (Special Announcement Too!)

Ghosts. Everyone knows about them, tons have “seen” them, but are they truly real? Now before we begin, I would like to again say that I take all things in a scientific point and I don’t have a specific side I’m on. With that out of the way, let’s begin. Now, ghosts have some main characteristics. Firstly, there dead, second, they don’t any resources( ex: water, food, sunlight ), and finally, they’re not hurt able or intractable with. So, could something like this exist? Well, usually it would depend on religion, but lets follow the rules of science.

Well there’s an explanation for almost everything, but one theory actually supports ghost like beings. This theory is called Quantum Mechanics. According to the theory, micro tubules inside are brain, and these supposedly are used for quantum processing, a.k.a. our souls. It then says that the quantum information they hold is sent out of your body when you die to exist on. Now, it does sound far fetched, but you never quite know. So overall, most science proves it wrong, but a few still agree, but what about evidence?

Evidence of seeing, hearing, or even feeling a ghost is extremely hard  to prove, if possible to prove. With today’s equipment and software, it’s easily possible to create fake photos or to manipulate photos into looking like ghosts. Now, some could say not all are photo shopped or edited, but that’s impossible to prove and maybe eventually we will make a machine that can tell wrong from right, but until then we have no real evidence, just like the Shadow People, which i went over last time. So evidence is out of the question. So what can really prove ghosts are real?

Well, their not impossible to exist. In fact, Einstein’s rules show that ghosts could most definitely exist. In the book, “Ghosthunters” (2007, New Page Books) John Kachuba said “Einstein proved that all the energy of the universe is constant and that it can neither be created nor destroyed. … So what happens to that energy when we die? If it cannot be destroyed, it must then, according to Dr. Einstein, be transformed into another form of energy. What is that new energy? … Could we call that new creation a ghost?” So again, science shows they aren’t completely impossible.

So, overall, could these be real, or are they fake? Well at the moment, I think there possible, but before i say for sure, i want to do more research. So, I’ll be making this a two parted post. Next time, I’ll look into other legends and past monsters/myths to see if i can find some truth, and also do more research into how they might work.

Oh and i wanted to announce that a friend of mine just wrote a fictional book called “The Ghostly Girl” that involves ghost and other worldly spirits. (Along with some romance too) It’s a great book so it would be great if you would check it out. You can read it for free on Swoon Reads! Please rate and comment on it so it might have a chance to be published! It would mean a lot to me and my friend if you could go and read it. Here’s the link right now: The Ghostly Girl

Hope you like the book! Also, thanks for over 2000 views, as that means alot to me and i really appreciate it! Hope you liked the post and stay tuned for the next post!

Shadow People

Ever look and see an odd shadow out of the corner of you eye, and wonder, what was that? Well, that’s supposedly a “Shadow Person”. Now, most skeptics or officials would probably say, “Oh, that’s just your imagination!” But is it really? I was reading up about hallucinations and discovered that they can only e made up of things you’ve seen/ heard before, which is odd, because you would have to of seen something like a ghost/shadow. I mean, you could look it up and you would probably find thousands of written documents of the things, so is something so mass really “just your imagination”? I mean, that would make hallucinations as common as stuffed-up noses. Which seems pretty unlikely.

So, if these things are supposedly real, what are they? Well, they could be a lot of things, such as a ghost, and evil spirit, or even a demon. Or maybe these things are just beyond our comprehension. Some things aren’t supposed to be solved in life, like how the universe was created (I’m talking from a scientific point of view.), or what came first, the chicken or the egg. Who knows, there might even be a scientific reason behind this too, like that there’s some odd rays coming from the sun that bend light and manipulate our dreams and vision together, (I’m just making this up). So this leaves us with one question…

Can they be proved real? Well, if it wasn’t for the times, myths would be MUCH more easier to solve. Because of Photoshop and other photo editing tools, they really is no way to believe anything really. No matter what you say or show, there’s no way to be sure unless everyone in the world witnessed it themselves. So, sadly I”m going to put this one down as…

For various reasons though. One, it really is almost impossible to prove real. Two, if I were to go deeper into the matter, I could go into ghosts, which I’m saving. And finally, I seriously don’t have enough time to go into research about this, as it would get very deep into hallucination causes, medical things, and I’m no doctor, so i wouldn’t really know what it all is.

Happy Appy

So, Happy Appy was apparently a real aired TV show about an apple who goes around  helping children. Now, at first, the show actually sounds real, like a totally believable show, but as the episodes progress the shows get gorier and gorier. Now, the first thing I want to mention is that Nickelodeon never proved or said anything about Happy Appy airing, so there really is no concrete evidence. Now, the show does sound real, and there is some disturbing facts that are truly stunning and make it seriously weird, but we’ll get to those later. First, let’s start off with the setting and plot.

Now, the story goes Happy Appy goes around helping children when there hurt. Nothing out of the ordinary, sure, he has a creepy smile, but that doesn’t really mean anything, as many TV shows have creepy-ish characters. Also, he is made of clay, which is also believable, as it is a live action TV show. The plot of the first 2 episodes seemed pretty real, and there’s really nothing wrong with it. Now,of course there’s blood and gore in the later episodes, but aside from that, Happy Appy seems like it could be real.

Secondly, let’s talk about if the later episodes could be real. So, they get gorier and gorier, and it also has Happy Appy killing people. Now does sound real? NO. Now, I know a lot of supposed TV shows and lost episodes that are like this, and this really does make the show A LOT less believable. Though, there is a catch, throughout the story there is talk about maybe drugging the producers so that they could air the show, but I doubt it. Another odd fact is that it aired on Noggin too, another branch off of Nickelodeon, but Noggin currently doesn’t exist and has been diminished. So with that, we just need some more evidence to clear it up.

Finally, I’m going to bring up the forewarning that the show does. This piece of evidence is what really makes it all stand out, it’s what tells you it’s true. So, in one of the episodes, it’s completely normal, except at the end, it says a huge destructive earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, and that you should help by donating money. Well, this blog was written around 3 months before the huge earthquake hit Japan and destroyed almost everything. So, there is proof right there that there’s SOMETHING going on here. I mean, this guy can’t control earthquakes or something, and i highly doubt it was a coincident.

So there you have it, Happy Appy may not be a fake. Sure, excessive gore and the creepy grin it gives might make it less believable. But the believable plot and the foreshadowing of events makes it so much more believable, so I think i might just have to say that this is…
